Yet, her wisdom often went unheeded, her suggestions dismissed by the male deities who failed to recognize the strength of her vision. Frustrated and overlooked, Oshun withdrew from the chaos of the earth, ascending to the moon, where she lounged in the silvery light, admiring her own reflection in the mirror of the cosmos.

But her absence was felt keenly upon the earth. Without her nurturing waters, the land withered, plants drooped, and the very pulse of life faltered. The rivers ran dry, and the vibrant songs of nature fell silent. It was then that Olodumare, the Supreme Creator, realized the gravity of her departure.
